About Classic Freight & Our Vision For The Future

Built on Experience. Moving Forward with Purpose.

Classic Freight is a Northern Kentucky-based transportation company built on experience, reliability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Our story took a major step forward when Classic Freight acquired the assets of C&J Trucking Inc., a transportation company that has been serving the industry since 1983.
Through the acquisition, we brought C&J’s equipment, experience, and industry knowledge into the Classic Freight operation—absorbing those assets into our growing fleet
and building on a foundation that has been trusted for more than four decades.

Today, Classic Freight combines that history with a modern approach to transportation. Our fleet includes 53’ refrigerated trailers, dry vans, and power-only equipment, allowing
us to provide dependable transportation solutions for customers throughout the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.

A Legacy That Continues

While the C&J Trucking name is no longer operating as a separate trucking fleet, its legacy continues within our organization. The C&J operation has evolved into Classic Freight’s
brokerage division, allowing us to leverage more than 40 years of industry experience while expanding the transportation solutions we can offer our customers.

Through our brokerage division, we can connect customers with a broader network of qualified transportation providers when a shipment requires capacity beyond our company fleet.
This gives our customers the advantage of working with one transportation partner while accessing both company-owned equipment and trusted outside capacity.

The Best of Both Worlds

Classic Freight was built by combining the strength of an established transportation company with the flexibility and forward-thinking approach of a growing operation. Our company-owned
fleet gives us control over service, equipment, and execution. Our brokerage division gives us the flexibility to find additional capacity when our own trucks aren’t the right fit.

Whether it’s a dedicated power-only move, regional refrigerated freight, dry-van transportation, or a shipment requiring additional capacity, our goal remains the same:

Provide dependable transportation, communicate clearly, and deliver for our customers.

Where We’re Going

We respect the history that brought us here while continuing to build for the future.  From C&J Trucking’s beginnings in 1983 to today’s Classic Freight operation, our business has
always been about more than trucks and trailers. It’s about relationships, reliability, and earning the trust of the customers and partners we serve.

Classic Freight — Experience behind us. Capacity ahead of us.
